Made from estate grown fruit, this Pinot has a bouquet of cherry providing fruit flavours on consumption. This wine is well supported by fine integrated tannins. Two years in barrel followed by another year in bottle before release has allowed this wine to mature for immediate enjoyment.
Reserve Chardonnay 2003
An elegant wine often mistaken for a wine from Burgundy, its nose ischaracterisedby lots of fresh fruityflavours. It is soft and yet fresh on the palate and whilst two or three years in the cellar would mature it still further, nevertheless this wine can be enjoyed today.
Riesling 2005
This grape had the best growing season for over 20 years and is a great follow up to the trophy winning 2004. The wine shows delicate floral aromas with powerful citrus fruit on the palate. Will improve with age and can be cellared confidently for at least ten years. The 2005 has so far won 5 bronze medals out of 6 shows entered in 2005 (Brisbane,Cowra, Rutherglen, Small Winemakers, Hobart)
Rose’ 2005
It exhibits several fruity characteristics in particular strawberries and together with a clean and fresh palate can be drunk at any time but in particular at a lunchtime gathering in the sun.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
A maturing wine using French Oak which can be immediately enjoyed but will develop further with age. It exhibits several fruity characters and is soft on the palate. This fruit was sourced from the Yarra Valley which is recognized as a premium region for this grape.
Ben's Run 2003 Shiraz (Broke, Hunter Valley)
This Hunter Valley wine show Silver Award winner tastes of wonderful aromas of spice and black pepper with a vanillin oak. Soft berry fruits and gentle tannins make this a superb Shiraz to be drunk now or cellared.
